Quinoa Porridge

Great for a winter’s alternative to oat porridge!  Sets you up for a good day nicely!

Cook the Quinoa – soak first as this helps remove the saponins that give Quinao it’s slightly bitter taste –  then cook in water, simmer until the liquid is absorbed the ‘grains’ are fluffy. Cool. The quinoa will absorb the water and will naturally expand. Continue reading

Battling Endometriosis and Winning!

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue grows outside of the uterus causing a great deal of – at times quite unbearable pain especially during menstruation and for many can result in infertility. (Maybe a reason why it took me so long to get pregnant with my son, Alex and then didn’t happen again after a miscarriage a few years later).
